As a plaintiff in a similar, federal case, the Women’s Liberation Front has filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court in the case of Gloucester County School Board v. G.G., in which a school board has petitioned the Supreme Court to review a decision by a U.S. Appeals Court that deprives students of their right to have access to sex-segregated spaces.
This case is important because this issue goes far beyond bathrooms. This case asks the question whether “women” even exist anymore as a legally-protected or definable category.
